The Business Owners Policy, commonly called the BOP, is the common and perfect path that most insurance professionals use to get into the commercial property and casualty markets.  

Ironically, even though the BOP might be the first commercial policy a person deals with, it borrows from several other commercial policies in its construction.

The result is a somewhat complex policy, but a great springboard from which to learn the commercial P&C business.
